Callaway Iron Set Apex Ai300 - Iron Set Golf Club

The APEX PERFORMANCE SERIES, launched in the 10th anniversary year of the APEX brand's irons, features Ai forged irons with upgraded distance and feel.

The APEX Ai300 Irons, one of the irons, succeed the 2021 APEX DCB Irons. The muscle-back design of the back face is similar to its sibling, the APEX Ai200 Iron. While the same hollow structure is used, the new irons offer greater offset than their predecessor, making them suitable for a wide range of players, including average players. The highly resilient Carpenter 455 steel forged face, combined with the soft-iron forged body, delivers high ball speeds and a comfortable feel. The AI Smart Face technology also allows for easier and more consistent launch of higher-flying balls. The loft for the I#7 is 29 degrees. The shafts are available in one carbon fiber and two steel types.

• The successor to the 2021 APEX DCB irons, it has a more reassuring look
  The APEX Ai300 Irons are positioned as the successor to the 2021 APEX DCB Irons. While the previous model had a cavity back back face, this one has a hollow structure, creating a muscle-back look similar to the APEX PRO Irons released in 2023. Like the APEX PRO Irons, the lower irons also feature a trapezoidal weight to optimize the center of gravity and adjust the ball's launch. The shape of the upper back face is slightly different from its sister model, the APEX Ai200 Irons, and the offset is greater than the APEX DCB Irons. The face design provides a more secure feel when addressing the ball.

• Both the body and face are forged, providing a feel that even tour players will appreciate
  Like the APEX Ai200 irons, the APEX Ai300 irons have a forged soft iron body, and the face is also forged from Carpenter 455 steel, replacing the 17-4 stainless steel of the previous model. This combination of forged face and body is rare among composite materials and construction models, and it produces a level of impact and feel that even tour players will appreciate.

• Carpenter 455 steel delivers incredible ball speeds
  The face material, Carpenter 455 steel, was also used in the 2023 PARADYM irons, and is characterized by its strength and high resilience. However, the impact force also increases, which raises the issue of ensuring the head's durability. While the PARADYM irons addressed this issue by incorporating a structure inside the head that connects the top blade and sole, the APEX Ai300 irons feature a forged soft iron body and a recessed area at the top of the back face that flexes and absorbs impact with its softness. This effectively utilizes the design while maintaining the sharp back face, resulting in incredible ball speed and great distance.

• The first in the APEX series to feature the Ai Smart Face
  The previous APEX DCB irons featured an AI-designed FLASH face, but the APEX Ai300 irons, following on from the PARADYM Ai SMOKE series, now feature the AI Smart Face. By inputting more detailed and extensive data, such as the impact point distribution of golfers with slightly higher average scores, the AI optimizes spin and launch angle, achieving even faster ball speeds than the previous model. Adding to this the hollow structure and larger offset makes it easier and more consistent to hit balls that launch high and stop.

• The familiar urethane microspheres reduce unnecessary vibrations
  The back of the face within the hollow structure is also equipped with Callaway's patented urethane microspheres. These microspheres reduce unnecessary vibrations without hindering face flex, resulting in a better feel. Together with the forged face and forged soft iron body, they provide the player with a soft feel and impact sensation.

• There are eight clubs in total, including I#4-9, PW, and AW, and three types of shafts are available
  The APEX Ai300 Irons come in eight sizes: I#4-9, PW, and AW. The loft for I#7 is 29 degrees, slightly stronger than the previous APEX DCB iron (30 degrees). One carbon shaft and two steel shafts are available. Customization is also available, with left-handed models also available, but only as a custom order.
